Charyon Armor Finger
Made by Mariia Khas.
Charyon is a 925 silver finger armor ring with articulated plates that follow the bends of the finger. Its construction refers to medieval knight gauntlets, where metal plates protected the hand while keeping it flexible. The relief was inspired by my trip to Charyn Canyon in Kazakhstan, whose walls of layered sandstone were formed from ancient sediments and carved over millions of years by the Charyn River, wind and rain. That rock texture is translated into metal, so the ring feels like a small fragment of canyon stone shaped by time and resting on the finger. Each piece is made by hand and to order, based on your individual finger measurements — I'll get in touch shortly after purchase to ensure the best fit. Engraving is included.
